About Me

Hey! My name is Ryan DuRoss!

I’m a designer, Stanford athlete, and advocate for innovation through sustainability.

I believe that great design is where creativity meets purpose, and my work is focused on crafting physical solutions that balance functionality, aesthetics, and environmental responsibility. Whether it’s prototyping a new concept, refining a product, or exploring sustainable manufacturing techniques, I thrive on transforming ideas into tangible outcomes.

As a student at Stanford University and a member of the men’s volleyball team, I’ve developed a strong sense of discipline, teamwork, and resilience—qualities I bring into every project I undertake. My dual passions for design and sports has taught me to approach challenges with creativity and determination, always aiming for impact and growth.

Beyond the court and classroom, I’ve channeled my entrepreneurial spirit into building meaningful ventures, such as being a part of the streetwear company, Drop Dimes. This endeavor has not only fueled my love for design but also allowed me to connect with people and ideas in dynamic ways.

I’m deeply inspired by the intersection of design and sustainability, and I’m constantly exploring how innovation can make a difference, whether it’s creating a product that reduces waste or rethinking how we approach everyday objects.

When I’m not designing or competing, you’ll likely find me thrifting, outdoors, learning new skills, or dreaming up the next big idea.

Let’s connect! I’m always excited to collaborate, share ideas, or discuss how design can shape a better future.
