What did I learn?

During my internship with Drop Dimes, I gained invaluable experience in brand development by helping to create a cohesive identity for the company, including logo design, product development, and marketing strategies that resonated with our target audience. I honed my skills in customer engagement by interacting directly with individuals at events, tailoring pitches, and building meaningful relationships, while also hosting engaging activities like scavenger hunts to enhance customer loyalty. Through event planning and execution, I learned to manage logistics for large-scale events such as the NorCal Cup volleyball tournament, ensuring smooth booth operations and adapting quickly to challenges. Additionally, I developed an understanding of effective sales strategies by debuting new products alongside the existing line and analyzing consumer behavior in real-time. These experiences fostered my creative problem-solving abilities as I tackled challenges like increasing booth traffic and innovating promotional strategies to amplify the brand’s reach.

Mastering Shopify

During my internship with Drop Dimes, I developed proficiency in using Shopify to design, manage, and sell products online. I learned how to set up an appealing storefront, optimize product listings, and integrate tools to streamline the purchasing process. This experience taught me the importance of user-friendly design and effective inventory management, allowing me to enhance the brand's online presence and drive sales efficiently.
